Post the game, pick the bar
Post "Watching the Longhorns at a sports bar on South Lamar, kickoff 2:30" and fans nearby see it. They ask to join, you say yes, and the chat opens so you can save seats or meet at the door. Prefer a small group? Say how many you want.
Find your people, by team
Put the team in the plan ("Cowboys fans", "Austin FC supporters", "Neutral, just here for the game") so the right people show up. Rivals are welcome if you say so.
Game days in Austin
- Longhorns home games fill bars near campus and downtown early. Arrive well before kickoff, or pick a spot further out.
- Austin FC matches have their own crowd. A watch party is a good way in if you can't make it to the stadium.
- NFL Sundays are easier: plenty of bars show every game, so say which one you want on the screen.
- Big fights and finals can carry a cover charge. Check before you post.
