Welcome to nCommon. By creating an account or using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use nCommon. By using the app, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under 18, you may not use the app.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Keeping your login credentials confidential
All activity that occurs under your account
Providing accurate information in your profile
Promptly updating your information if it changes

You may not create multiple accounts or impersonate any person or entity.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent activity posts
Use the platform for commercial solicitation without our consent
Collect or store personal data about other users without their consent
Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers on the platform
Attempt to reverse-engineer or compromise the app's security
Use the platform for any illegal purpose
Share content that is sexually explicit, violent, or hateful

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

nCommon has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You can report a person or block them from their profile or from any conversation; we review every report and remove content and accounts that break these terms.

4. In-Person Safety

nCommon facilitates real-world meetups. Your safety is your responsibility.

We strongly encourage you to:

Meet in public places for first-time meetups
Tell a trusted person where you're going
Trust your instincts — if something feels off, leave
Never share your home address with strangers

nCommon does not conduct background checks on users and cannot guarantee the identity, intentions, or behavior of anyone you meet through the platform. We are not responsible for the actions of other users in person.

5. Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you post on nCommon. By posting, you grant nCommon a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and use that content within the platform.

You are solely responsible for content you post. Do not post content you don't have the rights to share, or content that violates the rights of others.

6. Paid Features

nCommon is free to use. If we introduce optional paid features in the future, we will update these Terms before they become available, and you will always see the price before you buy anything.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

8. Disclaimers

nCommon is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

That the app will be available at all times or error-free
That you will find compatible activity partners
The accuracy of any user-provided content
The safety of any in-person meetup

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, nCommon and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app or any in-person interactions facilitated by the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you through the app of significant changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
