Child Safety Standards
Last updated: November 7, 2026
nCommon has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) or child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards explain how we prevent, identify, report, and respond to child-safety concerns.
Prohibited conduct
The following are prohibited on nCommon:
- Creating, uploading, sharing, requesting, or promoting CSAM
- Grooming, sexualizing, exploiting, or soliciting a minor
- Facilitating child trafficking or other sexual exploitation
- Using nCommon to threaten, coerce, or endanger a child
- Attempting to move prohibited interactions to another service
Reporting a concern
Users can report child-safety concerns from a person's profile, a conversation, or Bored chat. Users can also block another account immediately to prevent further contact. Reports may include additional details that help us investigate.
Anyone may report a child-safety concern directly to safety@ncommon.app. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
Our response
We review child-safety reports promptly. When a violation is identified, we may remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, prevent further contact, and preserve relevant records as permitted or required by law.
Reports to authorities
When we become aware of apparent CSAM or child sexual exploitation, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and to appropriate law-enforcement or other authorities when required by law. We cooperate with valid legal requests and investigations.
Designated safety contact
Questions about these standards or reports involving child safety should be sent to safety@ncommon.app.
